Introducing the beautiful Master W

This morning I had the pleasure of photographing the simply gorgeous Master W.  He is so cute I almost took him home with me and soooo well behaved.  I will start with one of my favourites.  I can't decide if I like it in colour or black & white so I will let you decide.

As I mentioned he was very good, but he didn't want to miss any of the excitement - no sleeping for him.  He did however fake it for me for a few shots.

As you can imagine Mum and Dad are a bit besotted - I love this one of him and Mum.

I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek there are many more to come in your gallery.  I do have a confession to make I think he may be permanently scarred - he may always have a fear of teddy bears!

Sorry couldn't resist!

Our Girls

We got some sad news today, a friend passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.  I was fortunate enough to do a photo shoot with her and her husband and son at the beginning of this year.  Our thoughts are with her family today.

As is always the way when these things happen you look at the ones around you and think how blessed you truly are.  I always joke that I have beautiful photos of everyone elses children, but don't have time to process all the ones I have of our girls.  So sorry for everyone waiting for photos, but I decided to spend this evening processing some photos just for me.  I have never blogged about them before but thought today was as good as any to introduce you to our inspirations, our sources of amusement, our dancers, our posers, our gardeners, our loves, the ones that drive us crazy with endless questions, arguments, songs, and requests - our girls, Amelia and Kate.

Amelia is our oldest.  She will be six soon, how the time has flown.  She has turned from a toddler who hated having dirty hands into a child that loves nothing more than pottering in the garden with her grandmother.  Thank goodness we have someone with green thumbs in the family!

Kate is the poser of the family.  It is impossible to get a natural photo of her anymore, but at three she has all the moves and is still happy for Mum to take her photo!
So there they are, the loves of our lives.  Thank you for allowing me to be a little self indulgent.  Give your loved ones an extra special hug and take care.

Kelly xoxo

Hot, hot air ballooners!

It was pouring with rain as I headed out to this photo shoot and this gorgeous couple had just been hot air ballooning.  Apparently they got above the clouds and had a great time.  They were celebrating their three year anniversary and I was lucky enough to take some special pics for them. We were also lucky as the rain stopped just as they returned to the resort. Here is just a sneak peek for them, the rest will follow soon in their gallery.

No-one should look this good after getting up at 5.30am!

Romance was in the air.

I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek, it was great to meet you both and I look forward uploading your gallery soon.

They stayed at the Sebel Resort & Spa in the Hawkesbury Valley and flew with Cloud 9 Balloons.

Bears of Hope

Last Saturday night I had the privilege of photographing a wonderful event, the 2nd Bears of Hope Charity Ball.

Bears Of Hope offers support and guidance for parents who experience child loss during pregnancy, birth or infancy. This includes loss through miscarriage, genetic interruption, multiple loss, stillbirth, neo-natal & infant death.

It was a great night, organised by some of the beautiful people pictured below.

They had many fundraisers on the night, silent auctions, jelly bear guessing competitions and a champagne raffle.  There were a great number of fabulous prizes on offer, including a beautiful necklace (pictured below) from Aurea Designs.

They launched their new song "Living among angels" which was just magic.  This was sung while they had their candle lighting ceremony to honour the children they love and have lost.  I am surprised I got any photos of that, it was very moving.

They also introduced us to their new bear - Hope.  Who will be donated to families who experience miscarriage.

There were a few tears, but mainly it was a fun and happy night.  The band, Swing Rite, were fantastic and got the crowd up dancing.

Well done to all the organisers, your work is amazing.

If you want to know more about Bears of Hope please go to http://www.bearsofhope.org.au/.

Super Models

Where have all the ugly people gone?  I don't know, but they certainly weren't at Freshwater Beach!  Look at these glamours I had the privilege of photographing today.

Even though it was only 9 degrees when we arrived at the beach they were all great sports and did everything I asked of them.

I special thank you to Ally and Brit for organising their friends to get together - you were all wonderful and I couldn't ask for a better bunch to do my first High School Grads group session.

I am sure you will all be great friends for many years to come.  There is definitely one thing you have in common - every girl loves another girl that loves shoes!

Hope you enjoy your sneak peek, will try to get some of the individual ones done tonight - who knows I might do a second blog!

Too Cute!

Had a great time last weekend catching up with old friends with a new baby. Of course we had to have the obligatory photo shoot. Miss E was so alert, no sleepy shot for her, as you can see she was wide awake. That shot where she is looking very happy in daddy's arms is about when she pooped right down the front of his shirt! What a princess!  Master J is just gorgeous and had a great time playing with Brum.

Enjoy your sneak peak.  Your Gallery will be uploaded soon.

Welcome to the world!

This is where we were a few short months ago.

And look what we have now!

Welcome to the world Miss Izabella.  It only seems like yesterday your Mum was this little!  Yes, she is as perfect as she looks we poked and pulled her and she didn't complain once!

Gorgeousness runs in the family - look at her two spunky brothers!

You can understand it when you look at the parents!

One last one I know Mummy will love!

Hope you enjoyed your sneak peek - lots more to come.
